TALKSHOW ON LOCAL WISDOM AS A GATEWAY TO THE GLOBAL MUSIC INDUSTRY The Ethnomusicology Study Program at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in collaboration with Rumah Karya Indonesia, will hold a World Music Talkshow on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (WIB) at FIB USU, as part of the Lake Toba Traditional Music Festival 6.0 "Pulse of Sound." The talk show will feature speakers from the National Talent Management, World/Jazz Meeting, Nadi Singapura (Singapore), and a lecturer from the Ethnomusicology Study Program of FIB USU, discussing the role of local wisdom in penetrating the global music market while opening up insights and networking opportunities for students in the global music industry. 02 September 2026
