August 20, 2023, marked the third and final day of the New Student Campus Life Orientation (PKKMB) event. The activities on the third day were held in the same manner as the first day at the USU Mini Stadium. At 6:00 AM WIB, all new Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) students arrived at the stadium. After all new students gathered in the mini stadium, USU selected 20 students from each faculty to participate in a Fun Walk activity around the campus.

 

 

 

 

The next agenda featured performances, including a dance and choir presentation by El Shaddai, the University Dance Student Activity Unit (UKM Tari Universitas), and the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI).

 

 

This was followed by the opening ceremony, with welcoming remarks from the Rector, the Governor, the Chairman of KPI Pusat, the Head of Commission I of the DPR RI, and the Coordinator of Documentation & Publication. Additionally, a talk show on digital literacy, titled "Maintaining a Safe Digital Space," was conducted with the Rector and a speaker from KPI Pusat.

 

 

 

 

Bagas Akbar Syaputra, a new Malay Literature Study Program student, was awarded an electric bicycle by the Chairperson of Commission I of the DPR RI, Meutya Hafid!

 

 

The next agenda was launching the logo for the 71st Anniversary of USU by USU Public Relations.

 

 

USU also presented a special guest star, Indra Jegel.

 

 

While the main event occurred at the USU Mini Stadium, 225 Faculty of Cultural Science (FIB) representatives participated in a faculty mosaic formation practice. At the end of the event, all faculties at USU performed their respective mosaic formations in turns. Below is the mosaic formation of the Faculty of Cultural Science at USU.

 

 

 

The event concluded with entertainment performances by Endah and Rhesa.
