FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), hosted a Technical Assistance Program for the Preparation of Job Analysis (JA) and Workload Analysis (WLA) at the FIB USU Meeting Room. The program was designed to support organizational restructuring while enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes across the Faculty.

The program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of Job Analysis and Workload Analysis as fundamental instruments for establishing effective, accountable, and needs-based organizational governance. The opening remarks were followed by Ely Hayati Nasution, S.S., M.Si., CIT, Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, who highlighted the importance of collaboration among all organizational units to ensure the preparation of accurate and comprehensive data.

The technical assistance program was attended by the Dean, the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, all Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, Heads of Administrative Subdivisions, and administrative staff responsible for human resource management within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences.

During the program, the team from the Directorate of Human Resources of Universitas Sumatera Utara provided guidance on the preparation of Job Analysis and Workload Analysis documents, covering the identification of duties and responsibilities for each position, workload mapping, and the preparation of documentation in accordance with institutional regulations and organizational needs. The program also served as a discussion forum, allowing participants to address challenges encountered in their respective units while receiving technical guidance on the preparation of the required documents.

Through this initiative, each organizational unit within the Faculty is expected to develop accurate and comprehensive Job Analysis and Workload Analysis documents that reflect the actual organizational conditions. These documents will serve as an important foundation for human resource management, workforce planning, workload distribution, and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

This program reflects the Faculty of Cultural Sciences' commitment to strengthening institutional governance through professional, adaptive, and needs-based human resource management, in line with Universitas Sumatera Utara's vision of becoming a globally competitive university.
