FIB USU PR - Wednesday, May 15th 2024, Rector of Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) Prof. Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti, DEA in his speech officially opened the Dean's Gathering of West BKS PTN for Language, Literature, Arts and Culture in Tanjung Pinang. The activity, which lasted for 3 days, was attended by the Dean or Vice Dean, Leaders in the West BKS PTN for Language, Literature, Arts and Culture Environment.
"The member faculties of West BKS PTN for Language, Literature, Arts and Culture are expected to be able to strengthen each other to improve the quality of the institution to become an excellent Faculty and University that will progress together," said the Rector of UMRAH.
Chair of West BKS PTN for Language, Literature, Arts and Culture who is the Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum. expressed his appreciation and thanks to the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UMRAH Satria Agust, S.S., M.Pd., CIAR who was willing to be the organizer of this gathering.
"This Dean's Gathering of West BKS PTN for Language, Literature, Arts and Culture can provide input for the preparation for the 2024 West BKS PTN Annual Meeting and International Seminar which will be held in September by Jambi University's FKIP," said Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum.
In his report, the Dean of FKIP UMRAH Satria Agust, S.S., M.Pd., CIAR as Chair of the West PTN BKS Dean's Gathering in the field of Language Literature Arts and Culture expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Dean, Deputy Dean and Leaders of the participants in this meeting.
"It is hoped that this gathering can increase unity and strengthen each other between faculties within the BKS PTN BARAT environment in the field of Language, Literature, Arts and Culture, especially in the field of the Tridharma of Higher Education," said the Dean of FKIP UMRAH.
Semirata (Annual Meeting and Seminar) with ISoLLEAC (International Seminar on Language, Literature, Education, Arts, and Culture) in 2024 will be held in September at FKIP Jambi University. The output of ISoLLEAC will be in the form of Scopus indexed proceedings or can also collaborate on publications with Scopus or Sinta 1, 2, 3 indexed journals in the member faculties of BKS PTN BARAT in the field of Language, Literature, Arts and Culture.
