Learning Outcomes

The Ethnomusicology Study Program aligns with the vision and mission of USU in the context of TALENTA BINTANG. In realizing the university's internationalization vision characterized by local excellence at the faculty level, the Ethnomusicology Study Program has undertaken various initiatives related to internalization and the realization of university values, which form the basis for the strategic plans (Renstra) and key performance indicators (IKU). USU's key performance indicators in the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) focus on enhancing the quality and quantity of outputs in the areas of teaching, research, and community service. These include the creation of participatory and collaborative classrooms, publications in international and other journals, intellectual property rights and prototypes, contributions to society recognized at the international level, and more.

Learning Outcomes
1 Able to write scientific works based on research findings using the concepts, theories, methodologies, and basic perspectives of ethnomusicology to become young researchers with the ability to present research results in oral and written form.
2 Able to speak as a speaker in national-level seminars.
3 Able to design applied music programs related to education and tourism.
4 Able to manage a performance, concert, and music festival.
5 Able to design information data and documentation of musical culture for archival, museum, videography, and photography purposes.
