I began my extraordinary academic journey in the Universitas Sumatera Utara English Literature Study Program in 2016, and I enjoyed my experience of being taught by quality lecturers who equipped me with specialized knowledge in linguistics, my area of study interest. During my formative years as a student, I actively participated in various debate competitions at different levels, and I can say that the department wholeheartedly supported it by providing permission and financial support. Most importantly, studying in the English Literature Program also led me to pursue a career as an English-Indonesian (civil servant) translator working at the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, and I feel honored to be an alumna of this program to represent my alma mater at the office.
