FIB USU PR - On Tuesday 05 December 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) signed a Cooperation Agreement between the FIB USU and North Sumatera Satupena as well as Book Review of the Novel "Benteng Bonjol" by Dr. Shafwan Hadi Umry, M.Hum, attended by the Dean of FIB USU, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A, Vice Dean III Mr. Mhd. Pujiono, M.Hum., Ph.D., P2KM&K and Public Relations.
Chairman II North Sumatra Satupena Prof. Dr. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D. expressed his gratitude to FIB USU for providing a place for the book review. Chairman II Satupena North Sumatra also thanked the invited guests who had attended such as students, North Sumatra Satupena advisors, North Sumatra Satupena administrators and the Chair of North Sumatra PGRI.
FIB USU Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A expressed her gratitude to the authors, advisors and all students, students and lecturers who attended. It is hoped that the signing of the FIB USU Collaboration with North Sumatra Satupena will realize its implementation through academic programs related to the Tridharma of research, community service and teaching.
Through this book review event, we can learn lessons from it and the most important thing is the topic. The work of the mainstay writer and imagination of Dr. Shafwan Hadi Umry, M.Hum, hopefully we can learn from the story and history. The younger generation can study and study this historical novel as a lesson and guidance. Hopefully this millennial generation can continue to try to fight for the Indonesian nation regarding the role in this novel.
