Becoming an outstanding study program requires more than maintaining academic quality—it demands continuous innovation, evaluation, and collaboration. With this commitment, the Batak Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled "Curriculum Review and Accreditation Document Preparation Towards Excellence and International Recognition." The forum served as a strategic platform to align the curriculum with current developments in higher education, industry needs, and evolving accreditation standards at both the national and international levels.

The discussion featured Dr. Ing. Ir. Ikhwansyah Isranuri and Prof. Dr. Drs. Jonner Hasugian, M.Si. as keynote speakers, with Drs. Warisman Sinaga, M.Hum. serving as the moderator. The session encouraged the exchange of innovative ideas, practical insights, and constructive recommendations. Key topics included strengthening the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, enhancing graduate quality, and developing effective strategies for preparing accreditation documents to support the study program's pursuit of excellence and broader international recognition.

Through this Focus Group Discussion, the Batak Literature Study Program reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement in academic quality and institutional development. By embracing collaboration, innovation, and openness to new perspectives, the program continues to build an educational environment that is adaptive, competitive, and globally oriented while remaining deeply rooted in Indonesia's rich cultural heritage. This initiative reflects the program's vision of preparing graduates who are academically accomplished, culturally grounded, and ready to contribute in an increasingly interconnected world.
