The most valuable learning experiences emerge when academic knowledge meets real-world practice. As part of its commitment to delivering adaptive and experiential learning, the Batak Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, is proud to announce that five of its students have been officially accepted into an internship program at the Department of Culture and Tourism of North Padang Lawas Regency. Spanning three months, the program serves as a meaningful opportunity for students to bridge classroom theory with professional practice, particularly in the fields of cultural preservation and tourism development.
Throughout the internship, students will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of activities related to cultural heritage preservation, tourism management, and public services in the cultural sector. Working alongside experienced professionals, they will strengthen essential competencies such as critical thinking, professional communication, collaboration, and leadership—skills that are increasingly important in today's rapidly evolving professional landscape.
