FIB USU PR - On Thursday, 1 October 2026, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FIB USU), demonstrated its commitment to supporting academic activities and the well-being of foreign lecturers by providing a new bicycle to Li Laoshi, who teaches at FIB USU. The bicycle was provided at the FIB USU Dean’s Office.
The bicycle is intended to make Li Laoshi’s daily mobility easier and support the smooth implementation of teaching activities. This initiative reflects the faculty leadership’s attention to the needs of foreign lecturers, enabling them to carry out their academic responsibilities more conveniently and effectively.
Representatives of the Mandarin Language Study Program (PSBM), together with Li Laoshi, expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Dean of FIB USU and the dean’s office team for their attention and support. The initiative is expected to contribute positively to teaching activities and foster a more inclusive and supportive academic environment.
Beyond facilitating the foreign lecturer’s mobility, this initiative is also expected to strengthen institutional relations between FIB USU and Jinan University. Stronger ties may open up broader opportunities for cooperation, particularly in education, academic exchange, and the development of international partnerships.
