This International MBKM Program is part of supporting Key Performance Indicators (IKU). The Dean advised that students must have a goal. This goal is for learning and experience which will be very useful after graduating from college.

FIB USU PR - On Friday, April 19, 2024, students of the Malay Literature Study Program, Arabic Literature, Indonesian Literature, English Literature, Ethnomusicology, Chinese Language and Library and Information Science, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) took part on International MBKM Program held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This International MBKM program is attended by 12 students and will be implemented starting April 21 2024.

Students who took part in the International MBKM Program were officially released by the Dean of FIB USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., and Vice Dean I Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D. and accompanied by the respective Heads of the Malay Literature, Arabic Literature, Indonesian Literature, English Literature, Ethnomusicology, Mandarin Language and Library and Information Science Study Programs.

Dean of the FIB USU Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein M.A. said that the International MBKM Program is included in the work program, especially the performance contract between the Rector and the Dean, and the Dean and the Study Program. This International MBKM Program is part of supporting Key Performance Indicators (IKU). The Dean advised that students must have a goal. This goal is for learning and experience which will be very useful after graduating from college. The Dean also advised to maintain health while participating in the International MBKM Program in Malaysia.
