FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University Sumatera Utara (USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences) held a Finalization Meeting for the 2025 Performance Report (LAKIN). The meeting was held in the USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences Meeting Room for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 13-14, 2026.
This meeting was part of the final stages in preparing the LAKIN, which serves as an accountability document for the faculty's performance during 2025. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., Dean of USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences; Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, MA, Ph.D., Vice Dean I; Dra. Heristina Dewi, M.Pd.; Vice Dean II; Mhd. Pujiono, SS., M.Hum., Ph.D.; and Vice Dean III. as well as expert staff from the Dean, Head of Administration, and Heads of Subdivisions from all committees drafting the 2025 Lakin.
This finalization meeting discussed refinements to the report's substance, the completeness of supporting data, and the alignment of performance achievements with established indicators. Each department was given the opportunity to submit reports and input to ensure the Lakin document was comprehensive, accurate, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., in his remarks emphasized the importance of the Lakin as an instrument for evaluation and strategic planning for the faculty.
"The Performance Report is not merely an administrative document, but rather a reflection of achievements and a basis for future performance improvements at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) USU. Therefore, finalization must be carried out carefully and responsibly," said the Dean.
Through this meeting, it is hoped that the preparation of the 2025 Lakin of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, can be completed on time and become a quality document that supports accountability and improves institutional performance.
