FIB USU PR - The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra (USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences) held a ceremony to present the Rector's Decree (SK) on the Appointment of Permanent Non-PNS Lecturers in 2026 on Monday, January 5, 2026, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra.
The decree was presented directly by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., to the lecturers who were officially appointed as Permanent Non-PNS Lecturers within the USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences. This event is part of the University of North Sumatra's commitment to strengthening the quality of human resources in the academic field.
USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences Dean, Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., congratulated the recipients and emphasized that the appointments demonstrate the institution's trust in the competence and dedication of the lecturers.
"The appointment of these permanent non-civil servant teaching staff represents both a mandate and a significant responsibility. We hope the lecturers will continue to improve their professionalism, maintain their integrity, and actively contribute to the academic and institutional development of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra," said the Dean.
Furthermore, the Dean emphasized the importance of the role of teaching staff in supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, both in education and teaching, research, and community service.
"The presence of competent and dedicated teaching staff is a crucial factor in improving the quality of learning and academic services. We hope this appointment will strengthen the faculty's performance and enhance the competitiveness of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, USU, at the national and international levels," he added.
The handover of the USU Rector's Decree took place in an orderly and solemn manner, and served as an important opportunity for the teaching staff to carry out their roles and responsibilities as part of the academic community of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra.
