On Thursday 26 October 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the University of North Sumatra (USU) implemented the Teaching Alumni Program at FIB. Founder and Director of the Sumatran Sustainable Orangutan Foundation – Orangutan Information Center (YOSL-OIC) is trusted to fill classes and provide lesson material on Diplomacy and Journalism.
FIB USU Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A. said that the Teaching Alumni Program will be hosted by Panut Hadisiswoyo to fill the Alumni class teaching diplomacy and journalism courses.
Panut Hadisiswoyo, S.S., M.Sc., M.A. said that FIB students do not really understand the basics of journalism. If this is related to English language skills, they can improve their skills in the field of journalism. In the Teaching Alumni Program learning, FIB students will receive material and theories about diplomacy, strategy, approaches and policies. as well as practice to gain expertise in diplomacy. FIB students were very enthusiastic about the material about journalism presented by Panut Hadisiswoyo S.S., M.Sc., M.A. in the Teaching Alumni Program which is quite clear and very useful.
