FIB USU PR - On November 7th, 2024, The Arabic Literature Study Program of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) held a discussion and sharing on the use of the book Al Arabiyyah Baina Yadaika at 9 AM in 2nd Floor of O Building. This activity was attended by figures from the Nuur Ar Radhiyyah Foundation and the teaching staff and managers of the Arabic Literature Study Program FIB USU, with the aim of discussing the use of the book in teaching Arabic and strengthening relations between the two institutions.

In this activity, participants who attended from FIB USU included Dr. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag. as the Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program, Andi Pratama Lubis, S.S. as the Secretary of the Arabic Literature Study Program and lecturers Dr. Windi Chaldun, Lc., M.Hum., Dr. Rahimah, M.Ag., Fatimahtuzzahra Nasution, S.S., M.Si., and Muhammad Nashi Huddin Ubaidillah, S.Pd., M.A. from the Nuur Ar Radhiyyah Foundation, attended by Drs. Muhammad Syarifuddin as Academic Director, Muhammad Syaipul Haq, BA as Head of SMP IT Nuur ArRadhiyyah, and Suhairono, S.Ag., Head of Language Division, and other teaching staff.

This activity aims to discuss the use of the book Al Arabiyyah Baina Yadaika, an international book that is widely used in teaching Arabic. In addition, the Nuur Ar Radhiyyah Foundation explained the reasons for choosing the Arabic Literature Study Program FIB USU as a partner in this activity. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag., Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program, FIB USU, expressed her hope that this activity could strengthen the cooperation between the Nuur Ar Radhiyyah Foundation and FIB USU. “We hope that this cooperation can continue, both in the form of community service, research, and teaching training for students at the foundation,” she said.

The event was closed with a productive discussion session, resulting in hopes for more cooperation between the Arabic Literature Study Program, FIB USU and the Nuur Ar Radhiyyah Foundation in the future.
