The PMM program, Consortium of Deans of Faculty of Cultural Sciences throughout Indonesia is a domestic Student Exchange Program for one semester between Universities (PT) under the same umbrella, namely the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. This program was formed with the aim of preparing students to face the challenges of developments in science, technology and social dynamics.

FIB USU PR - On Friday, January 20, 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received a visit from USU's Vice Rector I (Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A) and the Director of USU's Directorate of Educational Development (Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar, S.T., MMIT) in order to provide direction and advice for students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences who will take part in the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM), Consortium of Deans of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences throughout Indonesia. The PMM program, Consortium of Deans of Faculty of Cultural Sciences throughout Indonesia is a domestic Student Exchange Program for one semester between Universities (PT) under the same umbrella, namely the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. This program was formed with the aim of preparing students to face the challenges of developments in science, technology and social dynamics.

 

 

This event was opened directly by the Vice Dean I (Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D) and attended by the Dean (Dr. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A), Vice Dean III (Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M. Hum., Ph.D), Head of Student Affairs Subdivision and Head of Academic Subdivision, Chair and Secretary of the Study Program within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, as well as students participating in the PMM Program. 

 

The next event was a welcoming speech by the Dean of FIB, followed by remarks by the Director of the Directorate of Educational Development, and giving directions and advice to students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences who would take part in the PMM which was delivered directly by USU's Vice Rector I.

 

This event ended with a question-and-answer session led directly by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. Questions asked by students and the Head/Secretary of the Study Program relate to technical matters such as departure, assistance with living costs, requirements that must be completed by students, and acceptance at the destination University (PT). It is hoped that the 50 students from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences who will take part in the Independent Student Exchange Program for one semester at the destination FIB University (PT), will be able to adapt to the new place and can make the Universitas Sumatera Utara proud.
