FIB USU PR - Friday, August 4 2023, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) USU has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Performing Arts Faculty of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar regarding the Implementation of Tridharma Higher Education Activities and the Independent Learning Program - Independent Campus. Held online via Zoom Meeting, this event was also attended by the Dean of FIB USU (Prof. Dr. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A), Vice Dean I FIB USU (Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D), Vice Dean III FIB USU (Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D), as well as the Chair and Secretary of the Master of Arts Creation and Study Study Program and the Bachelor of Ethnomusicology, as well as lecturers. Meanwhile, ISI Denpasar was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts (Dr. I Ketut Garwa, S.Sn., M.Sn), Head of the AKPK Bureau (Dr. I Komang Arba Wirawan, S.Sn., M.Si), Vice Dean I FSP ISI Denpasar (Dr. I Gede Yudarta, S.SKar., M.Si), Vice Dean II FSP ISI Denpasar (Sulistyani, S.Sen., M.Si)., Vice Dean III FSP ISI Denpasar, Program Coordinator Studies in Musical Arts, Music, Dance, Puppetry and Performing Arts Education, as well as lecturers.

The signing activity began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of FIB USU. In her remarks Prof. Dr. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A introduced the 15 Study Programs within FIB and hoped that this collaboration could have a good impact on both parties. The same thing is also the hope of the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Denpasar, who was also conveyed in his opening remarks, as well as Mr. Dr. I Ketut Garwa, S.Sn., M.Sn. hopes that there will be better communication between FIB USU and FSP ISI Denpasar, especially regarding the planned visit of lecturers from the Master of Arts Creation and Study Study Program and Bachelor of Ethnomusicology.
The activity continued with the virtual signing of the Cooperation Agreement document carried out by the Dean of FIB USU and the Dean of the ISI Denpasar Performing Arts Faculty, which then ended with a virtual group photo session with all those present at the Zoom Meeting.
