And next year the Arabic Literature Study Program plans to expand this training program not only related to Arabic but also other foreign language training. This is solely a form of service to the USU academic community and the dissemination of knowledge.
FIB USU PR - The opening of this training activity was held on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 14.00 to 15.00 WIB, at the FIB USU's Tengku Amin Ridwan hall. The participants in this activity were students from various study programs at the Universitas Sumatra Utara and also attended by the Chair and Secretary of the Arabic Literature Study Program and 3 (three) Arabic language training lecturers who also came from the Arabic Literature Study Program. Serving as host for this training activity was Rahmi Yulida Harahap, a student from the Arabic Literature Study Program.
The opening activity of this training was opened directly by the Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program; Dr. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag. who on this occasion also represented the FIB Deanery. In her speech, the head of the Arabic Literature Study Program really appreciated this activity, especially because the participants in this training were students from various study programs at the Universitas Sumatra Utara, such as students from the Malay Literature Study Program, Japanese Literature, History, Chinese Language, Library and Information Science, Ethnomusicology, Mathematics, Management, Development Economics, Business Administration, and Industrial Engineering.
After the opening activities, the next event was training which was directly coordinated by the Secretary of the Arabic Literature Study Program. The activity participants were divided into 2 (Two) groups. Group A was trained by Dr. Rahimah, M.Ag. and group B was trained by Dr. Fatimatuzzahra Nasution, S.S., M.Sc. The training place for group A is located in the Tengku Amin Ridwan Hall.
Group B is located in the local Building I 103 FIB. At this inaugural meeting, all students who attended were given direction, training and modules, all of which were provided free of charge without charge. Training activities are scheduled to be carried out over 8 (eight) meetings. As for the training schedule and location, Insya Allah, it will be well coordinated by the Arabic Literature Study Program for the smooth running of this activity.
The Arabic Literature Study Program hopes that this activity will run well and provide benefits, especially for the participants. And next year the Arabic Literature Study Program plans to expand this training program not only related to Arabic but also other foreign language training. This is solely a form of service to the USU academic community and the dissemination of knowledge.
