4th Japanese Language Presentation Competition for University Students 2025 in North Sumatra and Aceh

The Undergraduate Program in Japanese Literature of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara organized and participated in the 4th Japanese Language Presentation Competition for University Students 2025 in North Sumatra and Aceh with the theme “Cross-Cultural Understanding”.

This Japanese language presentation competition served as a platform for students to develop their Japanese language skills while also expressing their understanding of cross-cultural aspects.

Through the activity with the theme “Cross-Cultural Understanding”, students were expected to broaden their insights into cultural differences and similarities and improve their ability to convey ideas orally in Japanese.

All students of the Undergraduate Program in Japanese Literature were required to attend and participate in the activity. During its implementation, lectures on that day were replaced with attendance recording at the competition.

This activity was expected to provide academic and non-academic experience to students, particularly in improving presentation skills, Japanese language use, and understanding of cultural diversity.
