REGARDING
VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT TO ENLIVEN THE 21st NATIONAL SPORTS WEEK (PON) 2024 ACEH – NORTH SUMATRA IN THE NORTH SUMATRA PROVINCE

To:
All Heads of Regional Government Organizations (OPD) in North Sumatra
All Leaders of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in North Sumatra
All Leaders of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in North Sumatra

In order to enliven and ensure the success of the 21st National Sports Week (PON) 2024 Aceh – North Sumatra in the Province of North Sumatra, and to encourage active participation from all elements of society, it is hereby conveyed to all Regional Government Organizations (OPD), State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) within the Provincial Government of North Sumatra to mobilize volunteers from various communities and involve all related stakeholders, by paying attention to the following matters:

1. Coordination and Synergy

Each OPD/BUMN/BUMD is expected to coordinate with their respective stakeholders, including educational institutions, youth organizations, sports communities, and the private sector to identify and encourage them as volunteers who will participate in enlivening the 21st PON 2024 Aceh – North Sumatra within the Province of North Sumatra. To facilitate the coordination process, a table of potential stakeholder involvement in supporting the event may be prepared (sample table attached).

2. Committee Formation

In order to mobilize volunteers from within OPD/BUMN/BUMD, a special task unit should be formed in each OPD/BUMN/BUMD to manage and organize internal volunteers, including assisting with registration, organizing task distribution, and scheduling their activities during the implementation of the 21st PON 2024 Aceh – North Sumatra within the Province of North Sumatra, without disrupting the main duties of OPD/BUMN/BUMD in serving the community.
