In connection with the implementation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 02 of 2024 regarding SSBOPTN, article 13, on the provision of tuition fee (UKT) reductions, which was subsequently stipulated in the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara No. 1942/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2024 concerning the Provision of Tuition Fee (UKT) Reduction for Final Semester Undergraduate and Diploma Three Students who meet the requirements within Universitas Sumatera Utara, we hereby facilitate the submission of UKT reduction applications for students who meet the following criteria:

  1. Students in semester 9 (nine) or above in undergraduate or four-year diploma programs who are taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project;
  2. Students in semester 7 (seven) or above in three-year diploma programs who are taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project;
  3. The Study Plan (KRS) has been verified by the academic supervisor; and
  4. Submit the application via the USU Administrative Service System (SILA: https://silet.usu.ac.id) – under the UKT reduction request menu, from February 3 to February 21, 2025.

The results of the verification will be issued along with the refund of UKT to the account listed in the application. The UKT Reduction Application for Final Semester Students will only be opened once each semester with no late submission accepted. Applications submitted after the specified period will not be processed.
