All FIB students are welcomed and well received by representatives of each university according to their goals. The universities that become the destination universities for FIB students in the PMM Program in 2023 are Sebelas Maret University, Andalas University, Airlangga University, Diponegoro University, and Mulawarman University.
FIB USU PR - In connection with the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) of the Consortium of Deans of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences throughout Indonesia, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara sent 50 students to several destination universities. FIB USU students will undergo learning in Elective Study Programs at several universities for one semester. The FIB USU students who take part in this program are students from the Study Programs of Arabic Literature, Malay Literature, Historical Science, Ethnomusicology, Chinese Language, Indonesian Literature, English Literature, Library and Information Science, Batak Literature, and Japanese Literature. They have arrived at their respective destination universities (PT) in the first week of February 2023. All FIB students are welcomed and well received by representatives of each university according to their goals. Students consisting of Arabic Literature, Malay Literature, and History study programs at Sebelas Maret University have arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport. Students of the Malay Literature Study Program PMM participants to Andalas University have arrived at Minangkabau International Airport, Padang. Students of the Ethnomusicology Study Program have arrived at Mulawarman University (UNMUL) and were welcomed directly by the Head of the UNMUL Ethnomusicology Study Program.
February 9, 2023 Students of the Library and Information Science Study Program have arrived at Diponegoro University. February 16, 2023 Students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program have arrived at Airlangga University. February 16, 2023 Students of the Batak Literature and Indonesian Literature Study Program at Padjajaran University are preparing to leave for Bandung.
Students consisting of Indonesian Literature Study Program, and Mandarin Language to Airlangga University are preparing to leave for Surabaya. Students consisting of the Japanese Literature Study Program, and Mandarin Language to Universitas Brawijaya are preparing to leave for Malang.
