FIB USU PR - On Friday, February 16, 2024, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with PT. Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison in the FIB USU Meeting Room. This activity was attended by VP-Head of GTM and Direct Sales Sembodo Budiharto, Head of Regional GTM and Marcomm Nina Meutia, AVP-Head of Branch Sales Medan Heri Sentosa, Officer-Branch Marketing Executive Rendy Meiro, Officer-Cluster Sales Executive Rendy Meiro, Dean and Vice Deans of FIB USU, all Chairs and Secretaries of the Undergraduate Study Program and Education Staff of FIB USU.
This signing was opened with welcoming remarks by the Dean of FIB USU Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A. The FIB USU Dean hopes that this Cooperation Agreement will later be implemented in the Tridharma of Higher Education activities, in teaching, research and community service as well as targeting ministry programs, which is Key Performance Indicators (IKU).
"One way is by inviting Experts from PT. Indosat to become a teaching team that will be linked to OBE (Outcome Based Education) based courses. Some of the study programs here have entered international level. Apart from team teaching, we hope that PT. Indosat can be a resource person at public lectures at FIB USU," said the Dean of FIB USU.
Followed by welcoming remarks from SVP-Head of Circle Sumatra, represented by Mr. Sembodo Budiharto as VP-Head of GTM & Direct Sales. He said that FIB USU had provided full support to PT. Indosat so that cooperation in educational development can be carried out, especially development in the field of art and student talent through the IM3 Collabonation Tour event in Medan.
"As a digital company in Indonesia, we not only provide world class experience, announce and empower the Indonesian people, but we also want to participate in the world of education, especially among young people in the field of arts and culture. For more information, the IM3 Collabonation has been present since 2019 where IM3 presenting Collabonation as a collaboration space for musicians and artists from various communications in Indonesia," said Sembodo Budiharto.
