FIB USU PR - On Wednesday 29 November 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) carried out the Signing of the Cooperation Agreement between FIB USU and the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Medan which was attended by the Dean of FIB USU, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A, Vice Dean III Mr. Mhd. Pujiono, M.Hum., Ph.D, Head of Administration Mr. Benny Wardhana, S.H, Head of P2KM&K Subdivision Mrs. Adry Wiyanni Ridwan, S.S, Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program Mrs. Dr. Dra. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag and secretary of the Arabic Literature Study Program Andi Pratama Lubis, S.S., M.Hum, P2KM&K and Public Relations staff.

FIB USU Dean Mrs. Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A delivered welcoming remarks to all those present. The Dean of FIB USU also said that this collaboration is very supportive of the common interest in completing community service and research. The Arabic Literature Study Program has quite a number of professors and doctors who are currently make proud of USU's FIB. Hopefully this collaboration can be realized in 2024.

Chairman of STIT Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Mr. Dr. KH. Rashidin, M.A. said that many Islamic boarding school students study and work as teachers, lecturers and even doctors. Hopefully this collaboration will be useful for others. Many alumni of STIT Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah are currently studying in every study program at USU, there are also many students who won in competitions using Arabic as well as support from STIT Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah. Chairman of STIT Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah also thanked FIB USU for being accepted to collaborate and being a guidance.
