PERSADA Goes to Campus: Socialization of Opportunities to Continue Studies in Japan
The Association of Indonesian Alumni from Japan (PERSADA) Indonesia North Sumatra held the PERSADA Goes to Campus activity with the theme “Socialization of Opportunities to Continue Studies in Japan”. This activity aimed to provide information and insights regarding various opportunities to continue education in Japan, particularly through scholarship programs and study experiences in Japan.

The activity featured several speakers with experience in education and scholarship programs in Japan, namely:
Nani Baroroh Nasution, S.Psi., M.A., Ph.D. – Recipient of the BPI Scholarship (Overseas Postgraduate Education Scholarship) from DIKTI in 2015.
Adrian Hilman, S.TP., M.Sc., Ph.D. – Alumni recipient of the MEXT Scholarship to continue his studies at the University of Fukui, Japan, in 2022–2025.
Furusawa Ken – Japanese Consul General in Medan.

The activity also featured remarks from Alimansyar, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., as Chairperson of PERSADA North Sumatra and Head of the Undergraduate Program in Japanese Literature, as well as Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita, S.T., M.T., as Vice Rector III of Universitas Sumatera Utara for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation.
Through the PERSADA Goes to Campus activity, students are expected to gain information and motivation regarding opportunities to continue their studies in Japan, including experiences in obtaining scholarships and insights into education in Japan.
This activity provided an opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge of international education opportunities and prepare themselves to continue their studies in Japan.
