FIB USU PR - On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) held a Public Lecture with the theme "Introduction to the Music Industry and Competency Standards for Musicians in the Indonesian Music Industry" which took place in the FIB USU's Prof. T. Amin Ridwan Building. This Public Lecture activity was welcomed by Viky Sianipar as the resource person.
FIB USU's Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A. expresses "A public study lecture is a very valuable opportunity because a great musician who acts as a music businessman and practitioner is very lucky for them". Head of the FIB USU's Art Creation and Studies Postgraduate Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ikhwanuddin Nasution, M.Si hopes that this activity can be a source of inspiration in lectures and become part of the music industry after students finish college.
FIB USU's Vice Dean I Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D. as moderator said that Viky Sianipar's visit provided a valuable opportunity with various experiences as well as an understanding of the competencies that are lacking in the music industry.
Viky Sianipar hopes that musicians who graduate from academics, especially FIB USU students, will immediately be ready to work in the music industry.
