FIB USU PR - Friday, May 17th 2024, the Postgraduate of Arts Creation and Study Program (MPPSn) Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) held a National Seminar on Collaboration of Arts, Culture and Tourism "Cultural Studies as an Axis of Arts and Tourism Collaboration". This seminar also invited keynote speakers which are the Head of the Center for Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship and the Tourism Industry LPPM UPI and the Chair of the Management Board of the Indonesian Cultural Studies Association (AKBI), Dr. Yuliawan Kasmahidayat, M.Si., and FIB USU's MPPSn lecturer Dr. Asmyta Surbakti, M.Si. The seminar also invited resource persons from the Lecturer at the Doctoral Study Program in Cultural Studies at Universitas Sanata Dharma, Dr. Yustina Devi Ardhiani M.Hum., and Master of Regional Language and Literature Education Lecturer at Universitas Lampung, Dr. Tuntun Sinaga, M.Hum., and guest star, Coordinator of the Cultural Studies Doctoral Study Program at Universitas Udayana, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M. Litt.

 

 

This activity is a collaborative activity regarding Cultural Studies Innovation which is proof of the collaboration of Dr. Vanesis Amelia Sebayar, S.Sn., M.Sn, lecturer at the FIB USU Arts Creation and Study Master's Study Program with the Indonesian Cultural Studies Association (AKBI) and the Center for Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Industry Studies at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

 

This collaboration is one part of the learning implemented by MPPSn study program lecturers in collaboration with other university lecturers outside USU.
