FIB USU PR - On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) signed a Collaboration Agreement with the Faculty of Art and Design Education (FPSD) of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) online via Zoom. This event was also attended by Dean of FIB USU (Prof. Dr. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A), Vice Dean III (Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D), and Head of Administration (Benny Wardhana, S.H), Head of Research, Community Service and Cooperation Sub-Division (Adry Wiyanni Ridwan, S.S), Head of Academic Sub-Division (Kasnawati, S.E) and Head of Student and Alumni Affairs Sub-Division (Edy Siswanto, S.S., M.Hum).

Meanwhile, the FPSD UPI was represented by the Dean (Prof. Dr. phil. Yudi Sukmayadi, M.Pd), Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (Prof. Dr. Trianti Nugraheni , M.Si), Vice Dean for Finance & HR (Dr. Tri Karyono, M.Sn), Vice Dean for Student Affairs (Dr. Dadang Sulaeman, M.Sn) and Head of the Academic Section for General Administration, and Head of the Quality Control Unit as well Collaboration field.

The signing activity began with a welcoming speech by the FIB USU Dean. In her remarks Mrs. Prof. Dr. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A introduced the 15 study programs within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), consisting of 10 undergraduate level study programs, 4 master's level study programs and 1 doctoral level study program and at the same time hopes that this PKS collaboration can be implemented in short time. The Dean also hopes to realize learning, research and community service as well as cooperation, which will have a good impact on both parties to realize activities or cooperation in 2024.

The activity continued with the virtual signing of the Cooperation Agreement document carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) USU and the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Education (FPSD) of the Indonesian Education University (UPI), which then ended with a virtual group photo session with all the attendees present via Zoom Meetings.
