HUMAS FIB USU - On Friday, December 12, 2025, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) inaugurated the Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2025-2026 term. The inauguration, themed "Stepping Certainly, Driving Democracy," was attended by Dr. Zulfan, S.S., M.Hum., the FIB USU Expert Staff for Student and Alumni Affairs, as well as other BEM Faculties within USU.
The inauguration was opened and officiated by Dr. Zulfan Lubis, S.S., M.Hum., the FIB USU Expert Staff for Student and Alumni Affairs, representing the FIB USU Dean, Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A. He conveyed that the Faculty of Cultural Sciences has high hopes that the new BEM leadership will be a driving force for more enthusiastic student activities and be able to meet the Priority Performance Indicators (IKP) of the university's programs. "We hope that under the leadership of Rifki and Raka, they can bring a new spirit and activities that must meet the IKP of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences," said Dr. Zulfan.
The inaugurated Chair of the FIB USU BEM for the 2025-2026 period is Kh. Rifki Amansyah Siregar from the Indonesian Literature Study Program and the Vice Chair is Raka Cahya Prakasa Nasution from the Arabic Literature Study Program. With the tagline "Empowering Collaboration," Kh. Rifki Amansyah Siregar, as Chair of the FIB USU BEM for the 2025-2026 period, is ready to take on a significant task. The new leadership's primary goal is to develop creativity and critical thinking among students in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. In its efforts, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Student Executive Board is committed to ensuring that collaborative work will yield positive results.
Ketua BEM FIB USU Periode 2025-2026 yang dilantik adalah Kh Rifki Amansyah Siregar dari Program Studi Sastra Indonesia dan Wakil Ketuanya Raka Cahya Prakasa Nasution dari Program Studi Sastra Arab. Dengan mengusung tagline “Kolaborasi Berdaya,” Kh Rifki Amansyah Siregar selaku Ketua BEM FIB USU periode 2025/2026 siap mengemban tugas besar. Kepengurusan baru ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk mengembangkan kreatifitas dan berfikir kritis mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Dalam upayanya, BEM FIB USU berkomitmen untuk bahwa kerja-kerja yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama akan menghasilkan hasil yang baik.
"In carrying out this new mandate, we sincerely hope for collaboration from all parties to improve student activities. Collaborating between student associations, the BEM, and the faculty will produce even better results," said Rifki in his remarks.
