FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) visited SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin in the context of implementing the Cooperation Agreement with SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Mirror. Representatives from FIB USU consisted of 5 (five) people, which is the Dean of FIB USU, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., Vice Dean III FIB USU, Mr. Mhd. Pujiono, M.Hum., Ph.D., Secretary of USU's FIB Library & Information Science Undergraduate Study Program, Mr. Muhammad Rasyid Ridlo, S. Hum., M.I. Kom., Head of USU FIB Academic Subdivision, Mrs. Kasnawati, S.E., and FIB USU Tendik, Mr. Hafizh Azmi Miswar, S.E. This activity is a return visit where previously SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin visited FIB USU on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
FIB USU arrived at SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin at around 09.30 WIB. Upon arrival at the location, FIB USU was greeted respectfully by SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin. Representatives from SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin, consists of the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin, Mr. Ahmad Husein, S.Pd., M.Sc., Deputy Head of Curriculum, Mr. Marsid, S.Pd., Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Mr. Drs, Amin., Deputy Head of Sapras, Mrs. Sari Derhana Simatupang, S.Pd., M.Si. along with Subject Teachers, Library Managers and Management of Class Consultative Councils & Intra-School Student Organizations as well as student representatives from the class.
The activity started promptly at 10.00 WIB by the presenter who delivered the opening remarks by appreciating the presence/arrival of personnel from the FIB USU. Next, the announcer presented the agenda for the first event which started with the Malay Silat Performance. Then continued with Prayer and Melayu Songs.
The event continued with the first remarks from the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin, Mr. Ahmad Husein, S.Pd., M.Si. In his remarks, the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin welcomed and thanked FIB USU for visiting SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin. The Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin also introduced all his staff. Second speech from the Dean of the FIB USU, in her remarks the Dean of the FIB USU expressed her gratitude, respect and thanks for the official welcome from the ranks of SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Mirror. The Dean of FIB USU also introduced all her staff who also visited SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin. Both parties really hope that this ongoing collaboration can run well in the future. Next, there was a discussion held by both parties.
