FIB USU PR - Human Resources (HR) Sub Division Staff, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) Andika Iskandar Mak Dunia, S.T., MT. participated in Dynamic Archives Management Technical Training Batch 1 and 2 which was appointed directly by the Head of the USU Archives Office, Mrs. Aisyah, S.E., M.Si for the reason that for two years in a row Andika was the Best Archives Unit II Archivist at the Universitas Sumatra Utara. The training was held on 23 - 30 June 2024 at the Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) for Employees of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Bojongsari, Depok.
The aim of participating in this training is to improve competencies related to understanding the concept of dynamic and static records management; Know the history of archives; Understand active archive management; Understanding Inactive Records Management; Understand static archive management; and Understanding archives as the nation's collective memory.
The output from this training is expected to increase personal capacity, competence to explore, generate ideas and innovations that can be applied to improve performance. It is also hoped that there are aspects of communication and public services that we can explore more deeply to ensure that our working environment is safe, conducive and of course inclusive and it is also hoped that records management, be it static records, active records and inactive records, can be well maintained in accordance with the Regulations and Legislation.
