FIB USU PR - On Thursday, February 13, 2025, the Arabic Literature Study Program, FIB USU held the HOK Campus Attack Tournament Activity (HOKCA) attended by Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, MA, (Dean of FIB USU), Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, MA, Ph.D. (Vice Dean I), Yudi Muhyar Pasaribu (daily chairman of IESPA Medan City) Representatives of each Sponsor and FIB USU Students which was held at the FIB USU Multipurpose Building.
Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, MA, (Dean of FIB USU) delivered a welcoming speech On behalf of FIB, I would like to thank and welcome and appreciate the initiative of PMII USU in choosing FIB as the host in implementing this Tournament activity.
This tournament is not just a competition, but a knowledge for students to develop creativity, sportsmanship and establish friendship between fellow students.
The HOK Campus Attack Tournament activity is one example of how students can develop skills outside the classroom. This activity can also make students behave maturely, because this tournament teaches teamwork, communication, and how to respond to winning or losing.
In every competition, of course there are winners and losers. However, more than just the final result, the most important thing is how the process takes place. Such as respecting each other's opponents or teams, make this experience a way to strengthen friendship networks.
I hope this HOKCA can run smoothly, full of joy and provide valuable experiences for all participants.
