FIB USU PR - On Monday, July 6, 2026 The Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Coordination and Performance Harmonization Meeting Across Units Based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (Indikator Kinerja Utama/IKU) and Supporting Performance Indicators (SPIs) (Indikator Kinerja Pendukung/IKP), at the FIB USU Meeting Room.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., and attended by the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni; the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization; all Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs; as well as the Heads of Administrative Subdivisions within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences.
The coordination meeting served as a strategic forum to align the implementation of cross-unit work programs in support of the Faculty's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (Indikator Kinerja Utama/IKU) and Supporting Performance Indicators (SPIs) (Indikator Kinerja Pendukung/IKP). Through this meeting, all participating units were expected to establish a shared understanding of performance targets, roles and responsibilities, and the integrated strategies required to achieve institutional objectives.
During the meeting, participants discussed various agendas, including the evaluation of performance achievements, the strengthening of coordination among organizational units, and the development of strategies to optimize programs that support academic excellence and institutional governance. The discussions also produced several follow-up actions that will serve as guidelines for each unit in implementing work programs aligned with the Faculty's established performance targets.
Through this coordination meeting, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration across units, enhancing the effectiveness of program implementation, and promoting accountable, collaborative, and results-oriented governance to ensure sustainable institutional performance.
