FIB USU PR - On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the University of North Sumatra (USU) commemorated the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday 1446 H with the theme "Emulating the Morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to build the character of a religious young generation which was organized by the Student Executive Board Organization at the FIB USU Pagelaran Building. Attended by the Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A, Lecturer of Arabic Literature Dr. Windy Chaldun, Lc., M.Hum. Ust. Bobby Marfansyah Maduwu (international preaching trainer, finalist of the 2023 Indosiar action) Head of Sub-Division and FIB USU Students.
Dean of FIB USU Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein M.A. delivered a speech in commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday today is a very special moment for all of us, because we gather to commemorate the birth of an apostle who is a role model for mankind.
The Prophet Muhammad's Birthday is not just a celebration, but also an opportunity to reflect on the teachings conveyed. The Prophet Muhammad was a figure full of compassion, honesty and exemplary. He taught us to live in harmony with others, and showed the importance of the values of justice and truth.
As part of FIB USU, we have the responsibility to develop and maintain the cultural values that have been inherited by our ancestors. FIB is a place where we study various aspects of culture, language, literature, history. All of these disciplines play an important role in shaping the character and identity of the nation, especially the academic community of FIB USU.
I would also like to emphasize the importance of togetherness in achieving the goals of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday activities, not only as an event to remember the Prophet, but also to strengthen the ties of friendship between us. We all have an important role in creating a conducive campus environment for learning and development. Said the Dean
