FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a meeting with PT Kino to discuss a proposed cooperation agreement as part of efforts to strengthen institutional ties between higher education and the industry sector.
The meeting was attended by Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., Dean of FIB USU; Dr. Zulfan, S.S., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Ely Hayati Nasution, S.S., M.Si., CIT, Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; Andi Pratama Lubis, S.S., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization; as well as the Head of the Subdivision for Planning, Cooperation, and Internationalization (P2KI) at FIB USU.
Representing PT Kino were Defi Anggraini (Supervisor), Mhd. Yasier Abiyu (Team Leader), Elika Yuni Purba (Event Team), and Tita Wiladatika (Event Team). The meeting discussed various aspects of the proposed partnership and explored potential areas for collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting served as a forum for both parties to establish a shared understanding and discuss the substance of the proposed cooperation agreement to ensure mutual benefits. Through the discussion, FIB USU and PT Kino sought to develop forms of collaboration that are relevant to academic needs while supporting the development of students’ competencies and practical experiences.
