This award is given to lecturers and higher education leaders who are visionary, able to inspire, and excel in innovative work both academically and for nation building, to the point of receiving national and/or international recognition.
FIB USU PR - On Monday, November 13, 2023, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) awarded the 2023 Academic Leader Award. A total of 8 lecturers and 3 rectors from 22 nominations were selected received an award at the event held at the World Scientific Forum of Indonesia (WSFI) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali.
Professor at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) at the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU), Professor Robert Sibarani won an award in the Academic Leader Award by the Directorate General of Higher Education and Technology. Prof. Dr. Robert Sibarani, M.S. was declared runner up (second best) in the category of lecturer in the field of Social Humanities.
WSFI is a meeting place and scientific collaboration for the development of research and academic networks. WSFI 2023 participants come from academics and scientists from various institutions including university leaders, heads of higher education institutions, Indonesian diaspora scientists, world-class professor grant recipients, and doctoral students.
One of the series of activities is the awarding of the 2023 Academic Leader Award. The prestigious 2023 Academic Leader Award event creates extraordinary momentum in appreciating the excellence and dedication of lecturers and academic leaders. This award is given to lecturers and higher education leaders who are visionary, able to inspire, and excel in innovative work both academically and for nation building, to the point of receiving national and/or international recognition.
