The Dean of FIB hopes that in the future FIB can excel and achieve the targets that have been set, for this reason it is hoped that there will be good cooperation between the Chair and Secretary of the Study Program, Lecturers and Education Staff in the achievement process. Furthermore, the selected 5 study programs were also discussed in preparation for international accreditation in 2024 by GJM, the OBE Curriculum, course outcomes, and research laboratory/cultural museum space.
FIB USU PR - On Monday, August 1, 2023, the FIB USU held a Monthly Leaders Meeting which was attended by the Dean of FIB (Prof. Dr. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A.), Vice Dean I (Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D), Vice Dean II (Dra. Heristina Dewi, M.Pd), Vice Dean III (Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D), Head of Administration, and Head of the Subdivision of Student Affairs, Academics, Human Resources and Finance, and P2KM. This meeting was held in the FIB Meeting Room.
This FIB Leaders Meeting focused on achieving FIB's IKU 1 to 8 percentages as well as solutions to increase and maintain the percentages that have been achieved this year. The Dean of FIB hopes that in the future FIB can excel and achieve the targets that have been set, for this reason it is hoped that there will be good cooperation between the Chair and Secretary of the Study Program, Lecturers and Education Staff in the achievement process. Furthermore, the selected 5 study programs were also discussed in preparation for international accreditation in 2024 by GJM, the OBE Curriculum, course outcomes, and research laboratory/cultural museum space. Apart from that, FIB's preparations were also discussed in welcoming new students for the odd semester 2023/2024 which will start from August to September 2023.
Next is a discussion regarding preparations for the FIB's Anniversary (Dies Natalis) which will be held in September. In the Dies Natalis activities there are several other series of events which will start to be held in August such as SEMIRATA (1st ISOLLEAC and 5th ISLCH Meeting and Seminar), Community Service, Lectures General, Art Performances, Competitions and Alumni Gatherings.
The meeting also discussed the achievements of FIB students, one of which was winning a Gold Medal by the USU ULOS Choir and the graduation of two FIB students in the IISMA Program. It is hoped that FIB students in the future will be able to achieve even more achievements so that they can make the Faculty of Cultural Sciences proud.
The Dean's hope for the Faculty of Cultural Sciences is to increase the IKU from 1 - 8, lecturers to continue their studies and be assisted in managing their ranks, study programs to obtain international accreditation, carry out international research and service collaborations and be SDGs based.
