The aim of the visit to establish collaboration is collaborative research on the history of the people who lived in Medan around the 19th century. Likewise research on the history and development of the Polonia District. (Polonia is the Latin name for Poland). Research covers airports, plantations, communities, and so on. Likewise with student exchanges and webinars.

FIB USU PR - Thursday 14 December 2023, the Bachelor of Historical Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) received a visit from the Deputy Ambassador of Poland, Mr. Ludwik Michalski accompanied by Polish Embassy staff Lukas Tambunan. This meeting was attended by Vice Dean III, Head of Administration, Chair and Secretary of FIB USU Historical Sciences Study Program, Prof. Dr. Drs. Budi Agustono M.S., teaching staff and staff of the Bachelor of Historical Sciences Study Program. This meeting took place in the FIB USU Meeting Room.

 

The aim of the visit to establish collaboration is collaborative research on the history of the people who lived in Medan around the 19th century. Likewise research on the history and development of the Polonia District. (Polonia is the Latin name for Poland). Research covers airports, plantations, communities, and so on. Likewise with student exchanges and webinars. The Historical Sciences Study Program hopes that activities as an embodiment of this collaboration can be realized soon.
