The Chinese Bridge Competition (汉语桥) is not only an annual event to showcase the best Chinese language skills among the participants, but also a place to showcase the ability to master and understand Chinese culture.
FIB USU PR - Thursday, February 16, 2023 The Chinese Language Study Program has held the Chinese Bridge 2023 event. The event was held at the building of FIB USU Prof. T. Amir Ridwan, opened directly by the Head of the Chinese Language Study Program (Niza Ayuningtias S.S., MTCSOL) and also attended by the Dean of FIB USU (Dr. Dra. T. Tyhrhaya Zein, M.A) and Vice Dean III (Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum, Ph.D) as well as the judges and lecturers of the Chinese Language Study Program.
The Chinese Bridge Competition of the Chinese Language Study Program FIB USU is a competition held by the Chinese Language Study Program Student Association every year. This Chinese Bridge Competition is a stage for students to show their skills in Chinese. Initially this activity was promoted by the Chinese National Hanban as a means to introduce the Chinese language to the world. The Chinese Bridge Competition (汉语桥) is not only an annual event to showcase the best Chinese language skills among the participants, but also a place to showcase the ability to master and understand Chinese culture.
There are two types of competitions in this event, namely Chinese speech competition and art performance with the theme 天下一家 (One Word One Family). It is hoped that this theme can awaken the spirit of spirit and never give up and show that learning does not know our place, time, and origin.
In order to prepare for this event, the Chinese Bridge Committee of the Chinese Language Study Program FIB USU has been working hard for 2 months and during that period the committee is tasked with gathering participants and socializing this activity. The committee is also tasked with arranging events and preparing all needs when the race is held.
Meilan as the head of the Chinese Bridge 2023 committee hopes that with this event, students of the Chinese Language Study Program FIB USU can improve their skills in Mandarin and also the talents possessed by students, so that they can be developed and become achievements that can make the Universitas Sumatera Utara proud.
