FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the History, Batak Literature, Malay Literature, and Indonesian Literature study programs of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FIB USU) held a briefing meeting for preparation of the National Accreditation process, held in the FIB USU Meeting Room.
The meeting was chaired by the Vice Dean I of FIB USU, Prof. Drs. Mauly Purba, M.A., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Drs. Jonner Hasugian, M.Si., as advisor to the accreditation team. It was also attended by the Head of Study Program, Secretary of Study Program, lecturers, and administrative staff within FIB USU. This activity aimed to provide initial guidance and establish a common understanding regarding the study program accreditation process.
The meeting stated that the preparation and implementation stages of accreditation are planned to last until December 2026, encompassing document preparation, accreditation instrument fulfillment, and strengthening coordination between study program elements.
Through this briefing meeting, it is hoped that all elements involved can work in a structured and sustainable manner to support the smooth accreditation process and improve academic quality within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
