FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the History Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra (FIB USU), held the book launch of "Behind the Flag of Unity" at the FIB USU Multipurpose Building. This event served as a forum for appreciation of intellectual works and a space for academic discussion on the values of unity and nationalism.
The book launch was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, lecturers, students, and invited guests from various circles. The book "Behind the Flag of Unity" explores the meaning of unity in diversity and its relevance to social, cultural, and national life in Indonesia.
In his remarks, he stated that he hoped the book launch would enrich the literary landscape and encourage reading and critical thinking, particularly in academic settings. Furthermore, the book is also expected to serve as a reference for students and the general public in understanding the importance of unity amidst current social dynamics.
The book launch continued with a presentation by the author, a discussion, and a question-and-answer session with participants. The participants' enthusiasm was evident in the various questions and responses raised during the discussion.
Through this activity, FIB USU affirms its commitment to supporting the development of science, literacy, and national values through academic work that benefits the wider community.
