FIB USU PR - On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the University of North Sumatra (USU) held a BIPA Program Dissemination Activity: Indonesian Language Teaching Training for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, USU. This activity lasted for four days, October 15-18, 2024, which was attended by 20 participants from USU FIB lecturers and representatives of BBPSU. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Language Strengthening and Empowerment Center (Pustanda), BBPSU, and the University of North Sumatra (USU) which was held in the USU FIB Meeting Room and attended by the Dean of FIB Prof. Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A, Vice Dean 3 Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D, Dr. Tengku Syarfina, S.S., M.Hum. and all BIPA participants from FIB USU as well as BIPA participants from Pustanda.
Head of the Language Strengthening and Empowerment Center Dr. Iwa Lukmana, M.A also said that this activity is a form of good cooperation in strengthening Indonesian as an international language. Strengthening BIPA teaching is a direct effort to strengthen the status of Indonesian in the international arena.
Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Language Center (BBPSU) Mr. Hidayat Widiyanto, M.P.d. delivered a welcoming speech in the context of the BIPA Program Dissemination Activity: Indonesian Language Teaching Training for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) and expressed his gratitude to FIB for providing facilities for today's BIPA activity.
Vice Dean III Mr. Mhd. Pujiono, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D. delivered a speech in the framework of the BIPA Program Dissemination Activity: Indonesian Language Teaching Training for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) and expressed gratitude to FIB for providing facilities for today's BIPA activity.
I would like to thank the Language Strengthening and Empowerment Center, the Language Development and Fostering Agency, and the North Sumatra Provincial Language Center for organizing this training and for the presence of all participants in the BIPA Program Dissemination activity: Indonesian Language Teaching Training for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) which is a very important activity in introducing and developing the Indonesian language and culture to the international community.
