HUMAS FIB USU - On November 11th, 2024, Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatra Utara together with the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh held a Study Program Association activity with the theme "Strengthening Study Programs through IQLAB Association Activities" in the Meeting Room, Building O, 2nd Floor (FIB USU) at 08.00 WIB. This activity was attended by a number of lecturers from UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh as well as the Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program, FIB USU, Dr. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag. and several other Arabic Literature lecturers.
This activity was opened with remarks from the secretary of the study program Andi Pratama Lubis, S.S., M.Hum. Furthermore, remarks by the Head of the Arabic Literature Study Program Dr. Nursukma Suri, M.Ag. "The importance of collaboration between study programs and strengthening associations in order to create study programs that are of higher quality and relevant to the needs of the times," said Dr. Nursukma.
Furthermore, a speech was also delivered by the Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program of UIN Ar-Raniry, Sumardi, S.S., M.A. He emphasized the importance of synergy between study programs in improving the quality of education and research in the field of Arabic Language and Literature. In addition, a discussion session shared knowledge and experience between lecturers and participants, which is expected to provide a positive contribution to the development of each study program.
The activity was closed with a prayer by one of the Arabic Literature Lecturers, Windi Chaldun, Lc., M.Hum., which also marked the completion of the series of activities. This activity reflects a serious effort in strengthening the quality of education and management of study programs through close cooperation between lecturers and study program associations, as well as creating space for constructive scientific discussions.
