FIB USU PR - Saturday, June 8th 2024, the Japanese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) held an Alumni Gathering with the theme "Sturdy Study Program, Dignified Graduates, Professional Alumni". This Alumni Gathering activity presented alumni of the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program from various classes, since this study program was founded in 2000, to alumni who just graduated in early 2024.
In his report, the Chairman of the Alumni Gathering Committee for the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program, Mr. Irwan, S.S., M.Si., expressed his gratitude to the FIB USU for supporting the implementation of today's Alumni Gathering activities, so that they can be carried out, and hopes that they can run successfully, without any problems.
"In line with the theme of today's Alumni Gathering activity, Strong Study Program, Dignified Graduates, Professional Alumni, we hope that through this momentum, we, in the sense of study programs, alumni and students, can exchange opinions, experiences and constructive input. so as to support the study program to become stronger with a quality curriculum, teaching and various other academic activities that are needed in the world of work, thereby producing graduates who have dignity in society, and are ready to join your brothers and sisters as professional alumni in various fields. " said Irwan.
In his speech, the Head of the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program, Mr. Alimansyar, M.A., Ph.D., revealed that through this Alumni Gathering activity, it is hoped that graduates from the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program will be able to share experiences, input and motivation, both with each other. alumni who have just graduated, as well as students who are still active, so that students and alumni who have just graduated can prepare themselves from an early age in entering the world of work and society.
He also revealed the various work programs and achievements of FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program so far, such as achieving success as the best study program in establishing collaborative relationships with various institutions, both on a national and international scale.
On the other hand, the Chair of the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program Alumni Association, Mr. Yala Awlya Perkasa Zen, S.S., M.Sc. welcomes the Study Program's desire to share experiences and motivation with alumni who have just graduated, as well as with students who are still active. He also serves as Branch Manager of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. KCP Pematang Siantar also invites all alumni to support the success of every activity held by the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program in the future.
In opening this teaching workshop, the Dean of the FIB USU, represented by Dr. Tasnim Lubis, S.Pd.I., M.Hum., supported the Alumni Gathering activities of the FIB USU Japanese Literature Undergraduate Study Program. He also hopes that this activity will also make a positive contribution in improving the First Key Performance Indicator (IKU), which can track and record graduates who have found decent work.
