FIB Indonesian Literature, USU – One of the undergraduate students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Farah Aisyah, won third place at the 23rd IMT-GT Varsity Carnival 2024 held at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, from 25–30 August 2024.
In this event, Farah Aisyah was one of the representatives from Universitas Sumatera Utara participating in the competition. After securing third place, Farah expressed her happiness even though she did not win first place.
“I am happy even though I only got third place,” she said.
Farah also stated that she was very proud to participate in this international event. She admitted that it was her first international competition.
“I am proud because this is my first international-level competition,” she added.
Farah hopes that in the future she will be able to win the competition. There were nine female students from Universitas Sumatera Utara representing various study programs in the event.
