He is a cultural person from Simalungun Regency. As a Simalungun son who was born and raised in Simalungun Regency, specifically in Nagori Parbutaran, Bosar Maligas District, he is always active in researching, documenting and revitalizing Simalungun culture. After graduating from Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and chose the Regional Language Study Program as a place to gain knowledge. After completing his studies, he took the lecturer test and was finally declared to have passed and was appointed as a permanent lecturer at the FIB USU Batak Literature Study Program. As a lecturer, he carries out various activities to realize the Tri Dharma of Perguruan Tinggi (PT), such as: seminars, research, and community service. To date, many ISBN books and scientific journals have been produced. In 2020, he was also entrusted by the Dean of the FIB USU as Chair of the Committee to Nominate Mr. Rondahaim as a National Hero from Simalungun Regency.
