Dr. Hj. Siti Muharami Malayu, M.Hum. was born in Surabaya on 28 June 1961. She is a lecturer in the Japanese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara. She completed her doctoral degree (S3) in the Linguistics Doctoral Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, specializing in Linguistics, in 2014.
