He has served as a lecturer in the Ethnomusicology Study Program since 1989 and remains actively involved in teaching to this day. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has been actively engaged in promoting Indonesia's regional arts and cultural heritage. He is also dedicated to mentoring students, encouraging them to deepen their understanding of traditional arts and culture through active learning, research, and cultural preservation initiatives.
