In relation to the implementation of the Graduation Ceremony of Universitas Sumatera Utara for Period III Academic Year 2023/2024, and to ensure smooth proceedings, the following matters are hereby conveyed:

1. Graduation Registration

1.1. Due to the transition of data from the old Academic Information System to the new Academic Information System, registration of graduation participants at the Faculty/Postgraduate School level will take place from March 20, 2024 to March 28, 2024.
1.2. Submission of graduation files from Faculties/Postgraduate School to the Academic Reception and Event Section, Academic Bureau, 2nd Floor, BPA USU, must be completed no later than April 3, 2024, at 15.00 WIB.
1.3. The Graduation Ceremony of USU Graduates Period III Academic Year 2023/2024 will be held on May 7, 2024.
1.4. Heads of Faculty and Postgraduate School Education Subdivisions of USU are requested to process graduation candidate registrations in cooperation with Study Programs/Departments.
1.5. Graduation registration is conducted only at the Faculty/Postgraduate School level; there is no registration at the USU Academic Bureau.
1.6. Graduation candidates’ biodata must be re-verified, especially: place and date of birth, photo, religion, alumni number, previous school/university, thesis/dissertation title, names of Promotor and Co-Promotor, with the note that unfilled data must remain blank.
1.7. The graduation fee, based on USU Rector’s Decree No. 1465/UN5.1.R/SK/SPB/2019 dated April 18, 2019, is as follows:

  • 1.7.1. Non-UKT students are required to pay a fee of Rp600,000,- (six hundred thousand rupiah) per person for all levels of education.
  • 1.7.2. Students whose tuition is funded through the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) are exempted from graduation fees.
