Colonies - Imperial and Colonization - Imperialism - Capitalism are very close to Frontier Regions, a term that is often used to trace the meeting of relations between frontier regions (colonies) with colonization which then created plantation capitalism, one of which encouraged structural transformation in the colonies whose legacy remains firmly established to this day. Scandinavian Indonesianist, Christian Lund (University of Copenhagen) Denmark, gave a guest lecture on Plantation Society and Frontier Regions at the History Study Program, USU Faculty of Cultural Sciences, 15 November 2023.
